Celebrate, honor and remember children forever loved.
We walk for our children. We walk for their memories. We walk together in support of Missing Pieces and our mission to support grieving families.
How can I participate?
Sign Up
Register today and invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you! Once you register, you can set up a team or individual fundraising page and share your story. Every participant will receive a branded face mask, race bib, bubbles, and optional add on purchases of butterfly wings and memory markers.
Fundraise for the Cause
And start spreading the word! Please share with your family, friends, co-workers, and fellow bereaved parents. Share your story and why you believe in GIPPCC and Missing Pieces. Ask for donations in support of creating a community for those impacted by a a child’s death.
Run, Walk or Flutter Virtually!
If you are unable to join us on October 15, gather your family and head out to the park, your backyard or a favorite spot to complete your 1-mile walk or 5k on your own time. Or if you prefer the solitude, take this opportunity to reflect and remember your loved one during a solo walk/run.
Volunteer with Us!
As a team or by yourself, consider volunteering for this year’s Butterfly Run. Volunteer time can be scheduled pre- or post-event. Volunteers can pass out water or cheer on runners throughout the course!
Videos & Photos
Take lots of photos and video of you running/walking and share a memory, a story, and place that is special to you and the memory of your child. Share a message about why you walk!
